It’s no longer summer in the city. We’ve flipped the calendar over and boom, September and all that comes with it is staring us in the face.

Fall is a great time to take a good look at how and what our business presents to consumers. How often do you take a critical eye and have a look, as a customer, at your own business collateral; how your business presents to potential consumers?

HTG Sports Services is a race and event management organization that uses world-class event management software to facilitate great events. Looking to up their presence in the game, they came to us for a brand new website as a way to show what they do and a captivating video to tell their story. The result is a one-stop  click to increase their exposure by sharing what they do, how they do it and why they are the best at it, on different platforms. A dynamic and exciting way to “show and tell” their business.

Infographics are Hot

An infographic is a strong piece of collateral that a business uses to explain a business, system or process.

There are three common styles that make an infographic work.

  • Using a strong or fun visual to graphically deliver compelling data that really drives a point home.
  • Taking a lot of information and help ensure it gets consumed in a quick, easy to understand and engaging way is very important in today’s digital world.
  • Explaining and humanizing processes and situations like how to use a product or a run-down of the situations an organization impacts.

A series of infographics allows us to break content into manageable, self-contained installments and allows content to be shared and reinforced in a quick and accessible way.

A Modern Twist on Traditional Marketing

Inside Edge Properties has been in business for over thirty years and delivers next generation commercial real estate thinking to its clients. They own the vacant Tommy and Lefebvre building on Bank Street in the Glebe and needs to get a pulse on what the community would like to see in the neighborhood.

We thought what better way to engage today’s public than with a survey. But not just any survey; a Twitter survey. Replacing forms with conversation using online platforms is a sure way to create engagement and encourage participation from the public and at the same time it will help Inside Edge identify potential lessors.

The Twitter campaign will be advertised with a print banner on the storefront asking its audience to let them know what they want to see in this space via Twitter. There will be a campaign specific hashtag that allows for ease of conversation and sharing of information. It’s an invitation to participate and have a voice and is sure to garner a big response. It’s a great example of utilizing traditional signage and social media to engage an audience.
